Fitbit has launched four fitness-oriented wearable devices – Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, Fitbit Inspire, Fitbit Inspire HR, & Fitbit Ace 2. While Fitbit is known for high-end fitness trackers, the company is going after the budget users with these new affordable options. The company also announced to redesign the UI of its app to offer a more personalized dashboard for a better understanding of users health and fitness data.
Talking about the newly launched products, the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition priced at Rs 15,999 is the costliest option. It is a stripped down version of the $200 Fitbit Versa launched in March 2018. Unlike the Fitbit Versa, the Versa Lite Edition will miss out the ability to track the floors climbed, NFC payments, and playing music. Instead of the three button setup as seen on the original variant, the lite variant comes just with a single button.
However, it still comes with SpO2 sensor, connected GPS support, continuous heart rate tracking, and sleep tracking. It is lighter in weight and is also swimproof. The Fitbit Versa Lite Edition will be available in White, Lilac, Mulberry, and Marina Blue color options. Fitbit also announced the new Inspire lineup by launching the Fitbit Inspire & Inspire HR. While the Fitbit Inspire is priced at Rs 6,999, the Inspire HR will be costing Rs 8,999.
Compared to the Fitbit Inspire, the Inspire HR additionally comes with a heart rate tracker. While the Fitbit Inspire comes in Black and Sangria colors, the Fitbit Inspire HR will be available in Black, Lilac, and White color options. Both the Inspire fitness bands are swimproof and offer up to 5-day battery life. They can automatically track exercise activities and sleep. It also got a small touchscreen OLED display to show smartphone notifications.
Alongside the Fitbit Versa, the company also launched its first fitness band for kids called as Fitbit Ace. Now, the company came up with the Fitbit Ace 2 as its successor. The Fitbit Ace is priced at Rs 6,999 and comes in Night Sky and Watermelon color options. There are also printed band options – Jazz Print and Go Print. Just like other Fitbit products, Fitbit Ace 2 also comes with activity and sleep tracking.
It gives up to 5 days of battery life on a single charge and is also swimproof up to 50M. The Fitbit Ace 2 also comes with animated watch faces. All these new Fitbit products will go on sale later this month in India. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
