Elephone G7 with Octa-core Processor available in India for Rs. 8888

Update, July 9, 13:22: The Elephone G7 is not officially launched in the country yet, Snapdeal or a retailer there is seling on their own. We talked to Elephone officials, and they confirm that company has official entered into India yet.
Though, we got the word that on July 15th, a new smartphone, not the G7, is going to be launched by Elephone and that would mark the entry of the company into the Indian market.
Earlier, July 8, 17:56: The smartphone consumers are getting another mid-range smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer, which is bang for the buck device. This marks the official entry of Elephone in the country, as they have launched their G7 smartphone in India today. The device is priced at the Rs. 8888 and sports very decent specifications.
Starting with display, it packs a large 5.5-inch HD (720p) display and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592m processor, which would clock at 1.4 GHz and accompanied by a Mali-450mp GPU. The device packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Running on company’s custom skin that is based on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS.
Talking about the cameras, the rear module on G7 is of 13MP while the front is of 8MP for selfie lovers, although, only the rear module is accompanied by an LED flash. It lacks the 4G LTE support, but has other basic connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The current scenario of Indian smartphone market is like one can get a smartphone with decent specification under 6K-7K pricing. For instance, Xiaomi Redmi 2 would cost you Rs 5999 in India with its recent price cut, as well as Yu Yuphoria, which has more double RAM and internal storage than Elephone is available for Rs 6,999 pricing.
