Before yesterday, you might not have even heard about this so called Pokèmon, but interestingly, today is it one of the trending topic of the world and people are going crazy about it. Why and should you care about it? Well, let’s find out.

Pokémon GO is an augmented-reality game developed by Niantic for iOS and Android devices. On simple terms, it allows players to capture, battle, train, and trade Pokémon. Sounds simple, right? But there’s more to it. All this goodness of capturing the Pokèmon and training them etc. happens in the real world instead of the virtual gaming world which is confined to your smartphone.

Even though you don’t know much about these Pokèmons, you can still go ahead and play the game. You don’t have to be a hardcore fan of the famous anime series, on which the game is based on. One good thing about this game is that it’s intrinsically mobile and that by itself makes it more interesting to try out. You can’t play the sitting in front of the computer or wear a VR Rig, but instead, you actually have to move around in the real world to progress through the gameplay. So the idea here is, you are not just playing a game, but you are exploring your neighborhood and cover more places.

With that being said, the game is filled with whole lot of fun and interesting new features to explore. But the only concern is that. This game is not available in India yet. Yes, the company has released the game in only a few select countries, and the rest of the word is just waiting peacefully for the game to release and watching others play online. But there are ways you can get this game early before it’s official launch. Here’s how –

Download the Pokémon Go APK file

First of all, you need to allow Android device to install and run apps from external sources. Be cautious when you turn on this setting, as you’ll want to make sure you only download apps you know are safe and reliable. To do this, open up Settings and go to Security. Scroll down and next to where it says ‘Unknown sources,’ tap the toggle to turn this setting on. Now you need to download the Pokémon Go APK file. On your Android device go to the Pokémon Go APK web page and tap on ‘Download APK’. Select ‘OK’ when the warning message appears and Pokémon Go will download.

Once done, Pokémon Go will now install, letting you play right now. You can now enjoy the game without having to wait for its official release in your location. Let us know your thoughts about the game down below in the comments section. Stay tuned for more tutorials like this.
