DooGee F5 with Liquid Metal Body and Fingerprint Sensor Announced for $149.99

DooGee has already released many smartphones this year, and it seems like the Chinese smartphone maker will come up with at least a couple more devices by the end of this year. DooGee is working on yet another high-end device DooGee F2015, which will be launched as DooGee F5. The device will be made out of liquid metal (liquid morphium) like Turning Phone. The liquid metal has the flexibility like plastic and high strength like metal.

Speaking about its specifications, it features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top (2.5D curved glass). It comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MTK6753  Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with Mali-T760 GPU and 3GB RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card support for expansion upto 32GB.

On the camera front, it sports a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, it also has a 5MP front shooter. The device supports dual sim dual standby, and connectivity includes 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. The device includes dual silicone microphone for noise cancelation. On the rear of the device, there is a Fingerprint sensor included which can unlock the device in just half a second.

It comes packed with a 3000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. The DooGee F5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. The dimensions of the device measure 152.3 x 76.9 x 7.8 mm and weighs around 140 grams.

According to a source, the device will launch in September and comes in the colors – Knight Silver, Gentleman Gray, Victor Champagne. As per the company, the DooGee F5 will cost only $150 while Turning Phone costs $610.

Earlier to this, we have talked about the DooGee F3 that was priced at $140.  The DooGee F3 comes with 2GB RAM while the Doogee F3 Pro and DooGee F3 Limited Edition features 3GB and 4GB RAM respectively. The pre-orders for F3 and F3 Pro are started, and will be shipped starting from August 28th. According the Limited Edition of F3 will be only launched by October.
