Coolpad THD-M0 Smartphone With 5″ HD Display & 2GB RAM Spotted On TENAA

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has launched a bunch of entry-level smartphones in the market previously and now, on the same lines, it looks like the company is planning on launching yet another budget offering. Yes, a new Coolpad smartphone carrying the model number THD-M0 has been spotted on TENAA and the listing suggests that it is an entry level smartphone.

For those of you who don’t know, TENAA is the Chinese regulatory website where all or at least most of the new smartphones are spotted. And now as mentioned earlier, the Coolpad THD-M0 has been spotted, which confirms the existence of the smartphone. Talking about the specs, we are looking at a 5-inch HD display on the front, which means that it has a resolution of 1280 x 720-pixel.

Internally, this smartphone is said to be powered by a quad-core processor running at 1.2 GHz and this is coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also has 16GB of internal storage, which can also be further expanded via a microSD card upto 64GB. Now, coming to the camera side, we are looking at an 8MP rear-facing shooter with an LED flash, whereas on the front, there is a 5MP shooter for selfies.

In terms of the software, this smartphone is listed to be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the entire package is kept powered by a 2500 mAh battery. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth and a micro USB port. As of now, this is all the info which we could gather about the device from the TENAA listing and it does look like an entry-level smartphone.

The company will be launching this smartphone on August 20th, i.e. next week and it a mid-range smartphone, offering slightly better specs than the one which we have just spotted on TENAA.
