Coolpad Ivvi Little i

Coolpad already holds the record for the slimmest smartphone in the world, with its Ivvi K1 Mini with a 4.7mm thickness. The company isn’t doing a one-off slim device launch, because a new smartphone, i.e. Coolpad Ivvi Little i gets released in China, with a thickness of 4.9mm.

To add to the slimness, the beauty is given on the front by a 2.5D glass that curves about around the edges, and the frame seems curved, just like how it is on the iPhone 6 Plus. Even the front resembles the iPhone 6, but here, the overall thickness of the device is the major thing to notice.

For the specs, the Coolpad Ivvi Little i has a 5-inch AMOLED display with 720p resolution, and under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (quad-core, 1.2 GHz) along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It seems this is a limited storage option and doesn’t come with a MicroSD card slot. The camera combination doesn’t seem great, with a 8-megapixel camera on the back, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Little i runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS, and there is a 1950 mAh battery packed into the device. Far interestingly, the Coolpad Ivvi Little i comes in gold, black, and silver colors, similar to color variants of iPhone 6. There are two variants, the standard and premium ones, where the former is available at an equivalent of $320, and the latter at around $355. Currently, we see this available only on JD.com, though expect this to hit the other stores in China very soon.

If looking for an alternative, there are some good slim devices in the market already, including Vivo X5 Max, Oppo R5, Gionee Elife S5.1, and the Gionee Elife S7.
