At an event hosted in New Delhi, by Coolpad Dazen India CEO Varun Sharma, and Mr. Li Wang, Global COO, Coolpad Dazen, the company marked its entry into the vast Indian smartphone market after keeping up with several competitors in China, where is company is based. Under the brand Dazen, two smartphones are launched, the Coolpad Dazen One, and the Coolpad Dazen X7. Let’s check out about both of them, individually.
The Dazen X7 is a 5.2-inch device that has a 1080p display, and that is a Super AMOLED display given to the phone, with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is internally powered by an octa-core chipset clocking at 1.7GHz, and is supported by 2GB LP-DDR3 RAM. There is 16GB internal storage, and the second SIM slot acts as a MicroSD card slot.
The device has a 13-megapixel rear camera with F/1.8 aperture, and on the front is a 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The back camera is a Sony Exmor IMX 214 sensor. The Dual SIM smartphone has a 2700 mAh battery packed in, and according to the company, it has a 50% extended battery life. It is 6.5mm thick, and the device has dual speaker grill in the bottom. The smartphone supports 4G LTE FDD connectivity, though we are yet to confirm about the bands supported.
The Dazen X7 is priced at Rs. 17999, and this is going to be exclusively sold on Snapdeal, from June 9th. There will be Gold and Titanium White colors available, and the registrations begin from today.
