Chuwi e-Book Tablet with Dual-Boot OS and 8000mAh Battery Launched at $200

Chuwi, the tablet maker based out of China had launched a new 10.1-inch tablet named “Chuwi e-Book.” The unique feature of the tablet is the dual boot support between Android OS and Windows 8.1 OS. The tablet is priced at $200 (approx Rs. 13,250), making it one of the affordable dual boot tablet. It will be available only in Black color and can be purchased through third party Chinese resellers.

It comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 resolution and it also supports a pressure-sensitive stylus called HanWang ES4 pen. According to the manufacturer, the pen comes with an active digitizer that can accept up to 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and this doesn’t even required to charge.

The tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor clocked at 2.16GHz. It has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB. A Whopping 8,000mAh is what keeps the tablet powered on. On the connectivity front, it has an HDMI port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.

Coming to the cameras, it has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and Windows 8.1 operating systems. The tablet measures 261.7 x 175 x 10.9 mm and weighs 531 grams. Earlier the same company launched an 8-inch tablet called Chuwi Hi8 priced at just $90. Even at such a low price range, it comes with dual boot OS same as the on the Chuwi e-Book.
