Chinese Brand Promotes UMI its Next Smartphone as Galaxy Note 7 Mini
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 recently, which you can pre-order right now and get the Gear VR for just 1,990 INR. This offer is also extended to the Galaxy S Series, where you can get the Gear VR for that price. But talking about the Note 7 phablet, we don’t have any significant design difference here, but still, the Note 7 appears to be one of the best devices made this year so far. People are going crazy about it and in fact the demand is so high, that the manufacturer had to delay the launch in some countries.
When a smartphone is so popular, how do other manufacturers enter the market at this point and launch their smartphone? Well, just market your product as the younger sibling of the popular note 7. Sounds crazy right? But a Chinese brand called UMi has done just that. Yes, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMi, is all set to launch a new device and is promote it as the Galaxy Note 7 Mini. We don’t have much info about this new device that they are planning to launch but we do have some images for the same.
Taking a look at the device, it looks strikingly similar to the Note 7 Phablet, but of course much smaller as it is supposed to be a ‘Mini’ version. The device has a fingerprint scanner at the bottom which is embedded on the home button. The company stated that it is slimmer than the Note 7 Phablet and gives it a nice grip to hold on to and feels nice in the hand. As mentioned earlier, we don’t have any info about the device as such but we are looking forward to more info as it looks very promising. UMi also unveiled the UMi Super and UMi Max previously, which looks pretty good as well. Stay tuned for info on this device in future.
