Cherry Mobile Announces Zoom Smartphone with 13MP Main Camera & 4000 mAh battery

The Philippines-based handset maker, Cherry Mobile has been launching smartphones at an affordable price segment. Recently, this brand had launched Cherry Mobile Flash & M1 smartphones priced at Php. 5,999 and Php. 11,999 respectively. Now, the Cherry Cosmic Technologies company has announced a new smartphone with decent specifications called as Cherry Mobile Zoom. The device name hints that it has a unique feature for Photography and has been listed on their official website.

This Cherry Mobile Zoom smartphone features a 5.0-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and offers a 294 PPI of pixel density. Under the hood, it comes packed with a MediaTek MT6735M Quad-core Cortex A-53 processor that clocks at 1.0GHz paired with 3GB RAM and Mali T720 MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The dual SIM smartphone offers 4G LTE connectivity. There is a 16GB built-in memory that can further be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The other options include 3G HSPA+, 2G Edge & GPRS networks, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB port, GPS and FM Radio. The Cherry Mobile Zoom smartphone comes equipped with a 4000 mAh capacity battery that can give more than a day of usage.

On the camera side, it bears a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash, which can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video chats. The smartphone comes with an Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Accelerometer Sensor.

The Cherry Mobile Zoom handset will be available in Grey, Gold, and Pink color options. It is priced at Php. 4,999 and available for purchase only in the Philippines.
