Celkon Astro Smartphone with 4.5″ FWVGA Display & 3.2MP Rear Camera Announced

The Indian smartphone manufacturer company, Celkon had recently launched a new smartphone in the category of Millennia series which is called as Celkon Millennia Ufeel that came with basic level specifications and priced at Rs. 3,299. Now, the company has announced another smartphone silently that comes with 3G connectivity and is named as Celkon Astro. It has been listed on their official website. As of now, there is no pricing & availability of the device.

The Celkon Astro smartphone flaunts 4.5-inch FWVGA Display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution and offers a 218 PPI of pixel density. It has a Dragon Trail Glass which protects from minor drops and smudges. It is powered by quad-core Cortex A7 processor that clocks at 1.2 GHz paired with 512 MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory with the memory expansion up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with preinstalled applications.

This smartphone supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 3G network. It has Gravity Sensor and Hall Sensor. It will be available in Gold and pink color options. It is packed with a 1600 mAh capacity battery which will give a more than a day of usage. As per as cameras are concerned, it bears 3.2MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, which can record videos in 720p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is 1.3MP secondary camera for taking selfies and video calls.

The other connectivity options include 2G/3G, Edge / GPRS, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, OTG support and GPS / A-GPS navigation. It is measured by 133.5 x 66.5 x 9.9 mm dimensions and is weighing around 70 grams. As of now, there is no pricing & availability of the device as will update this article when its available price.     Not worth to buy ? just 512 mb of RAM & lack of 4G LTE with very low end spec’s at this price. instead better to go & buy any Lyf smartphone starting from 3k price range.
