The Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Bluboo is launching yet another handset. The device is called the Bluboo Maya Max. Previously the company launched the Bluboo Maya, and this is the Max version of the same smartphone with better specifications. It is not a significant upgrade to the Maya, but it has few better specifications than the previous one.
There were lots of leaks about this device previously and now we have the full official specs list with us about the device. The Maya Max is going to be powered by a MediaTek MT6750 Octa-Core processor with 4-cores clocked at 1 GHz and the remaining four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. It has Mali-T860 MP2 for graphics processing. The device is going to be packed with 3GB of RAM and will have 32GB of internal storage.
On the front, we have a 6-inch 720p display panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. On the camera side, we have a 13-megapixel rear facing shooter and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The internals is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery which should last for a long time since the display is also just a 720p panel. Other hardware specifications include, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer and the device is certified for IP63 rating, which can protect your phone from dust and minor water spray. The smartphone is 4G LTE Cat6 capable and also support Volte.
The smartphone is made out of 6000 series Aluminum and has a unibody design. The smartphone also packs NXP’s smart PA module, which is an amplifier for portable devices. The smartphone will run 6.0 marshmallow out of the box which is a nice touch. As mentioned previously, this is not a significantly different from the existing Maya variant but just a bigger version with minor tweaks. The company also launched a smartwatch previously called the Xwatch, which is company’s first Android Wear smartwatch.
The Maya variant which was launched previously had a Quad-Core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor and Mali 400 GPU for graphics. It packed only 2GB of RAM compared to the 3GB in the new Maya Max and came with a smaller 5.5-inch display and a 3,000 mAh battery. And pricing and availability of new Maya Max is not known yet, and we will update the information accordingly, so stay tuned.
