Blackberry Priv Launched with 2K Slider Display & 18MP Camera

Blackberry the brand know for business class smartphones has launched it’s first ever smartphone powered by Android, i.e., the BlackBerry Priv that runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is priced at Rs 62,990.

It features a 5.4-inch QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels as its resolution with 540PPI. The device comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa-Core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz coupled with Adreno 418 GPU. The device comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded up to 2 TeraBytes using a Micro SD card.

It sports an 18 Mega Pixels rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), PDAF and 4K Video recording with a Dual Tone LED flash. The front camera on the device is of 5 Mega Pixels and supports HD Video recording. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Micro USB. NFC and GPS/A-GPS are the connectivity features available on the device.

The device is powered by a 3410 mAh Li-Polymer battery with 14 hours of talk time and upto 380 hours of standby time and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. The device will be available in single colour, i.e., black and will be on sale from 30 January 2016 and will be exclusively available on the Amazon India Store. Acceleration, Gyroscope, Proximity , Ambient Light and activity monitor the sensors available on the device and helps in automating the device.
