Samsung had launched the Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge in February this year and is now getting ready to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2nd. The popular Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are well-designed devices sporting high-end specifications. Now the Galaxy Note 7 is leaked with the dual Edge display on the front while the back remains same as on Galaxy Note 5. And in 2017, the company will be coming up with Galaxy S8 & S8 Edge in the first half and Galaxy Note 8 in the second half.

While almost after one and half year later, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Edge will be made official (most probably). The concept phones always came out unique features which aren’t mostly seen on the final devices. The Galaxy S9 concept renders packs some monster specifications. It runs on the Android O OS and comes with a bezel-less 5.5-inch curved display with Quad HD resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 830 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

The upcoming Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with 6GB RAM, but the recent leaks reveal the device to feature just 4GB of RAM. It has 21MP dual rear cameras with f/1.9 aperture and 4K video recording, while on the front is the dual 13MP sensors. The physical home button seems to be wider than on the current devices. Recently, Samsung is said to opt for iPhone like round shaped fingerprint sensors for better recognition, though there is no official information about this yet.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (maybe 5G by that time), Bluetooth 4.2 (Bluetooth 5?), Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Samsung is said to supply dual camera sensors for Xiaomi and LeEco. The Xiaomi Mi 5S and the LeEco Le Max 2 Pro are supposed to come equipped with these sensors. We had exclusively covered about the leaked back panel of the LeEco device sporting dual rear cameras.

While there is more than 18 months time gap for the official launch of the device, we expect Samsung to come with even better specifications and features. There might also be changes in the design with the modular and flexible smartphones said to rule the future smartphone market. Earlier, we have also covered about the concept phones – ASUS Echelon X One and Nokia Zeno transparent phone.
