Best Upcoming Smartphones of July 2017 – Expected Specs & Features

In the month of June, we have seen quite a few flagship smartphones launching in the Indian market. While there is no official confirmation, we will be seeing few new smartphone launches from the Chinese brands in the coming weeks. A couple of these devices are already launched in other markets and we will be knowing the Indian pricing and availability dates on the launch day. Apart from the below-mentioned devices, we also expect to see a few smartphone launches from the Indian brands.

Nubia Z17

Just after launching the Nubia N17 Mini with dual camera setup, the China-based company also unveiled its 2017 flagship smartphone, Nubia Z17 in China. While its predecessor, Nubia Z11 was made available in India, we also expect to see the Nubia Z17 in the Indian market in the next few weeks. It comes in Black Gold, Soft Gold, Black, Blue and Red color options. Just like the other 2017 flagship devices, the Nubia Z17 also comes powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. It also has the IP certification making it both water and dust resistant. However, there is no 3.5mm Audio port but features a single USB Type-C port. It sports a 5.5-inch two-sided bezel-less display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. Xiaomi Mi Max 2

Last year, Xiaomi launched a new device called Mi Max with a huge 6.44-inch display and now, it unveiled the Mi Max 2 as its successor in China. While the company is skipping the launch of Mi 6 in the Indian market, we might soon see the Mi Max 2 launching here in India. The new Mi Max 2 also comes with the same 6.44-inch Full HD display as seen on its predecessor. It sports an unibody metal design offering premium look to the device. Even the battery is now bumped up to 5,300mAh capacity and is mentioned to give 57 hours of talk time and 18 hours of video playback. Under the hood is the last year’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. LG V30 will be company’s new flagship device that will be launched in second half of 2017. At the MWC 2017, the company unveiled the LG G6 with the last year’s Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset. But the new LG V30 will be featuring Snapdragon 835 chipset. The company will continue with the glass back body offering wireless charging along with IP68 certification. Instead of the secondary display as seen on the LG V10 and LG V20, the upcoming LG V30 is rumored to feature an inset camera as seen on the Essential first smartphone. The infinity display introduced with the LG G6 will be seeing major improvements like featuring OLED curved display. We might see the official launch of the LG V30 at the IFA 2017 that will be held in early September in Berlin. While the last year’s LG V20 is the world’s first to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, we hope the company offers similar surprises with the LG V30. While we aren’t expecting the LG V30 to launch in the month of July, we might see more information about this upcoming flagship smartphone.
