Not a much popular name in the smartphone industry, BenQ is a Taiwanese manufacturer well known for monitors, projectors and such computer accessories. But the company isn’t keeping itself away from the high-end bandwagon as the new BenQ F52 gets officially announced with power-packed specs, and the device is announced in partnership with Cheetah Mobile.
The BenQ F52 is going to be showcased at MWC 2015 in Barcelona. The smartphone has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with 3GB RAM. The F52 has a sweet camera combination as well, with a 13-megapixel rear and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The picture suggests there is also a LED flash given for selfies, which is a good addition.
While packing some good specs in the BenQ F52, it is also made sure that the device will have Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with some pre-installed apps such as Clean Master, GP Security and GP Battery Doctor, and these inclusions are obvious as BenQ has partnered with the app developer, Cheetah Mobile.
This isn’t the only device announced by BenQ though, as the mid-range smartphones B50 and B502 also got official, and all the three will be showcased at the BenQ booth at MWC 2015. The brand will target Asian countries more, and we don’t expect to see much of an impact with this device, when consumers tend to incline more towards top-tier brands when it is a question of top-end offerings.
We don’t know more details right now, and most of the other specs are yet to be known.
