Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 with Triple Rear Cameras & Zenfone Max M2 Leaked



Earlier this year, Asus launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform in India. It is the company’s first ever smartphone to ditch the in-house Zen UI. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 became one of the best selling budget smartphones in India, thanks to its aggressive price tag. Recently, we are seeing leaks about the successor to the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone.

Now, the complete specifications of the Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 are leaked online. While the leaked variants are the ZB633KL (for Zenfone Max M2) & ZB631KL (for Zenfone Max Pro M2), the India-specific variants will be coming with the model numbers ZB632KL (for Zenfone Max M2) & ZB634KL (for Zenfone Max Pro M2). While both the devices come with a 6-inch Full HD+ display, the processor and cameras will be completely different.

We also can’t confirm whether these new Zenfone devices come with a notch or not. While the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform, the Zenfone Max M2 will continue using Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform. The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will also use the same Snapdragon 636 SoC which also powers the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

While both the upcoming Zenfone Max devices offer 4GB of RAM, the Pro variant will be coming in 64GB and 128GB storage options and the non-Pro variant will be limited to 32GB and 64GB storage options. Both the devices will offer a 13MP camera on the front for selfies. While the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will come with tripel camera setup on the rear, the Zenfone Max M2 will stick with dual rear camera setup.

Going by the pricing of the Zenfone Max Pro M1, the upcoming Zenfone Max Pro M2 will surely be the most affordable triple camera smartphone. As of now, there is no official confirmation over the launch of these two devices. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
