Asus ZenFone Max M2 Launched With Snapdragon 632 SoC & 4000mAh Battery



Asus has launched its Max M2 midrange smartphone in the country today along with the Zenfone Max Pro M2. Recently the handset was launch in Russia and it comes with a metal back along with plastic finish on the top and bottom. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear and is powered with a big 4000mAh battery on the back which is claimed by the company to last for 2 days without recharging.  The device is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB 32GB RAM while the 4GB RAM 64GB storage variant is available at Rs. 11,999 in India and go for sale starting 20th December Exclusively on Flipkart.  

Under the hood, the Zenfone Max M2 comes with a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. Moreover, it will come in 3GB as well as 4GB RAM variants along with 32GB and 64GB onboard storage respectively. It will come with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with Stock Android experience, and it could get further updates when available. The user can also extended the storage on the device up to 2TB with a dedicated, microSD card slot. 

On the rear, we can find a 13MP main camera sensor along with LED flash and other features like EIS and it also uses AI technology to analyse the subject and it is also capable of recognising 13 types of scenes. It also comes with electronic image stabilisation for video shooting. There is also a 2MP secondary rear camera to accompany the main sensor. On the front we can see a 8MP selfie camera with LED flash with diffused light and f/2.0 aperture size. There is a 6.3-inch frameless screen with HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) resolutions with 88 percent relative screen area and 19:9 aspect ratio. Further more it comes with the protection of 6th Generation Corning Gorolla Glass to provide more security to the screen

The handset supports Dual SIM connectivity and measures 158.41 mm × 76.28 mm × 7.70 mm. There are other connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.2, Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS and more along with other sensors required for automation of the smartphone. The fingerprint sensor on he device is said to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds and it also has face recognition unlocking feature.
