ASUS ZenFone Max with 5,000mAh battery Launched in Japan at 30,020 yen

Last year in August, we had seen an announcement of Asus ZenFone Max at the ZenFestival. Soon after the announcement, in the month of January 2016, Asus managed to release this 5000mAh battery-powered phone in India at 9,999 INR. And now, the same phone has been launched in Japan at 30,024 yen. Two variants named ASUS ZenFone Max (ZC550KL –BK16) (Black) and ASUS ZenFone Max (ZC550KL –WH16) (White) was made available for the Japanese users through the official Japanese Asus site.
The device is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which clocks at 1.2 GHz. This 5.5-inch smartphone has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with Asus ZenUI interface and is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop version. The surprising factor from Asus is that it has equipped powerful Li-Po 5000 mAh battery for the first time in its line-up.
The tradition of equipping huge battery in the smartphones has been in large-scale these days. Recently, we also spotted Gionee Marathon M5 and M5 Plus phones which come with 6,020 mAh and 5,020 mAh batteries. We are expecting more devices from the Asus with massive battery capacities in the coming days.
Back to the ZenFone Max which is launched in Japan, the device has 13 MP camera, with 5 MP front-facing camera and it featured with Geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, panorama and HDR. While the device is available in 8/16 GB internal storage versions, one can extend the storage capacity to 64 GB using a memory card. This dual-sim smartphone has been priced slightly higher in Japan when compared to that of in India. The users can pre-order the black and white versions of this phone via the Asus official Japan page and very soon the devices will be shipped to the consumers.
Asus, on the other hand, looking forward to releasing few other smartphones to meet the requirements of the evolving technology. It has been in the smartphone market since few years and very soon it has occupied a decent place among the other top manufacturers. With an affordable pricing and high-specifications, Asus managed to sell most of its devices across the globe.
Apart from the ZenFone Max, we have seen the release of Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Selfie, which received good response from the smartphone users. So, as of now we are expecting that, Zenfone Max, which is powered by 5000 mAh battery, will also do good in the Japanese market.
