How To Erase & Factory Data Reset your Asus Zenfone 2 Laser

Asus had recently launched three new smartphones i.e., theZenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Selfie in the Zen Festival that was held in Delhi. These devices were launched different storage variants, i.e., 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. If you have used the Zenfone 2 laser and would like to switch it to any other device make sure you format the device before you give it to others. There are two ways in which you can reset your device one is the soft reset, and the other is hard reset. In both the resetting methods, the complete data is being deleted from your device, and your device will become fresh for the use. To reset your Zenfone 2 Laser, you can follow the below mentioned steps.

    Step 1: Open the settings from the app drawer or the notification panel.
    Step 2: In the Settings window, head over to the personal section and tap on Backup & reset.
    Step 3: Now tap on the Factory Data Reset option in the Personal data section.

    Step 4: A warning message stating “This will erase all the data from your device, and internal storage” is displayed on the screen, tap on Reset Phone button at the bottom of the screen.
    Step 5: Now a confirmation message is displayed where you need to type the keyword and tap on Erase Everything.

    The device will restart, and the data will be erased from your device, and it will boot again as if you have booted the device for the first time. You need to setup the device if you want to use it again.

Note:
Always remember to backup the data present on the device before your factory reset because the data cannot be retrieved back once you Factory reset your device.
