Asus, the Taiwanese manufacturer, has started to roll out a major software update to its Zenfone 2 Laser handset, which was launched last year as a camera focused smartphone. This OTA (Over the Air) update will change the firmware version to 22.214.171.124_M3.6.44. Note that company recommends you back up your data and relocate your apps since this update will take major space on your device. The brand states that their custom OS based on Marshmallow won’t support APP2SD, which is you won’t be able to transfer the apps to SD card after updating the system.
The company hasn’t specified how big this update is in the form of MBs/GBs , but rest assured it will big large update. So, we also recommend that you download this file over the Wi-Fi connection only, instead of the mobile data network.
