ASUS is all set to launch the new flagship devices in the ZenFone series. The new ASUS ZenFone 3 is going to launch on July 12th. The company is expected to launch two other variants called the ZenFone 3 Deluxe and the ZenFone 3 Ultra as well. And now according to the recent leaks, the company is working on another device. An unknown ASUS smartphone as gone through the GFXBench benchmark test recently.

As a result of this, few specifications of this new device has been leaked. The handset is listed as the ASUS Z01B and according to the website, it features a 5.5-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 435 chipset powers the device, which carries an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU. It has the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. The device packs a 2GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal storage.

On the camera side, we have a 12-megapixel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter. The device appears to be running the latest build of Android i.e. 6.0.1 Marshmallow. According to the source, there are some speculations that the device could be a lower-powered variant of the ASUS ZenFone 3. Looking at the benchmark result, it does appear to be a lower-end version, as the specification doesn’t match with the flagship standard.

And already we have three different variants of the ZenFone coming this year with different display sizes and different internal specifications as well. The most powerful out of the bunch being the ZenFone Deluxe. It is going to sport a Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and will feature a 5.7-inch display. Another variant being the ASUS ZenFone Ultra, with a massive 6.8-inch display.

Considering the fact that the ZenFone 3 has higher end variant’s, then the company can also launch a lower-end variant of the same. The Asus ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra are all due to be launched July 12th. If the leaked new Z01B is the lower-end variant, then we can expect it to launch around the same time if not together. Stay tuned for more information on this device.
