Android M

After the release of Android Marshmallow Update, all the users are waiting to experience the new update of their devices soon. The update has already rolled to the Android One and Nexus devices with an OTA(Over-the-Air) Update. The newly launched Nexus devices LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P are coming with the latest Android version, i.e., 6.0.

Few Brands like LG, Samsung and Huawei has already started working on the latest version and are expecting to deliver it to the users by the end of the year. All the brands are focusing on a target that the update must be released to their flagship devices soon and has already started testing the devices. If you own a Samsung device then you can check the list of Samsung device that would be getting the latest update, and you can also verify the list of Huawei devices, or you can go through the complete list of device that would be getting the latest Android version i.e., Marshmallow

Sony, Japanese electronic giant, has recently announced they would be working on Android Marshmallow update soon. As seen on the support page of Sony it has mentioned that the few of the devices would be getting the marshmallow update directly instead of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Below is the list of the devices that would be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead of Android 5.1.1.

These are the devices that would be getting the Android M update directly as if the company plans for the Android 5.1.1 now then it will take time for the next update to roll out in the market. Instead of which planning for the latest update is a wise choice, and probably you can taste the update on your device by the end of the year.

If your device is not mentioned in the above list, that doesn’t mean that your device won’t get the update. It is just a hint that the brand has started laying road for latest update and would be delivering soon for their consumers. If you still think that you can’t wait for the update, then you can switch your device to the latest Nexus devices, i.e., Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P where the devices would be coming with the latest Android version.
