Huami has been expanding its range of wearables since it has been backed by Xiaomi and now it has launched its new Amazfit Cor 2 fitness band in China. This band will be the successor of the Human Amazfit Cor that was launched in India a few months ago. This new device comes with similar specifications like its sibling with better battery life. The Amazfit Cor 2 from Human has been priced at RMB 299 (approx Rs. 3,000) and will be going for sale starting tomorrow in Black color in its home country. Nothing is known about the global rollout or global pricing as of now.
The fitness band comes with 5 ATM water-resistant design along with a polycarbonate body. Furthermore, it will be offering seven days of weather forecasts along with alarms, stopwatch, and timers which could be set accordingly. The device can track the daily activity of the users by considering the step counts, distance traveled, exercises, calories burned and sleep quality like most of the fitness bands in the market.
It also offers its users manual and continuous heart rate tracking and can be tracked via companion application. There is a 160mAh battery on the fitness band and Human also claims that it is capable of delivering up to 20 days of battery life. To scroll around the menu options, there is a 1.23-inch LCD color 2.5D touch display with a layer of anti-fingerprint coating on top.
The Amazfit Cor 2 can display notifications of the phone when connected, that includes messages, calls, emails etc. Moreover, it also has 3-axis accelerometer and NFC connectivity for making payments. The users in China can get this device from tomorrow but we need to wait a few more days to see it globally.
