Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power Smartphone with 5000mAh Battery Announced

Alcatel is a brand of mobile handsets that is owned by Chinese electronics company TCL corporation; it has been launching affordable smartphones at a budget level price in range. Now, the company has announced the another smartphone in the series of Pixi 4 series called as Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power and is now listed on their company’s website with few specifications. As the name suggests, it has a massive 5000 mAh capacity battery with quick charge support, which can act as a power bank.

The Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power smartphone has heroic style with textured back panel and features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display which has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It can offer a 267PPI of pixel density and a 5 point capacitive touch screen. Under the hood, there is no information about processor and chipset, it might be expected to come with a MediaTek Quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3GHz and is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

There is an 8GB of internal memory that can further be expanded via microSD card slot and has 1GB of RAM. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and is limited to 3G HSPA+, which carries 21Mbps of downlink speed and 5.76Mbps of uplink speed. The device packed with a massive 5000 mAh battery with fast charging that can deliver a battery juice 2.7 days without a charge, 22 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, 14 hours of video streaming and five days of non-stop music.

On the photography, the device comes packed with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash that can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. There is a 5-megapixel secondary camera on the front for selfies and video chats. The other camera features Polaroid camera and Video stabilization (EIS). The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS / A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

It has an advanced audio optimization technology from Arkamys that gives a sound is louder and clear across all apps, music and streamed content. Measuring of the device dimensions are 152 x 78.3 x 9.9 mm and is weighing around 202 grams. As of now, there is no pricing & availability of the smartphone. Recently, the company has launched the Alcatel Pixi 4 (5.0) smartphone with basic level specifications at a price tag of INR 4,999 and is now available for buy on Flipkart.
