Alcatel launches MOVEBAND, MOVETIME WiFi Watch, MOVETRACK and MOVE Track&Talk Wearables

IFA 2016 show floor saw a bunch of smartwatches and wearable launches. Usually, we see only a few of them but this year, more and more manufacturers came up with their own offerings. On the same lines, Alcatel also decided to join the race and unveil their wearables range. Yes, the company is now trying to get consumer’s attention now with their range of wearables.

The company unveiled a new series of wearables called as MOVE. This is a new series of wearables which consist of a variety of different devices. The list includes MOVEBAND, MOVETIME WiFi Watch, MOVETRACK and MOVE Track&Talk. The first one is MOVEBAND. It is a bracelet that uses dedicated application. Users can use this app and track their physical activity like distance travelled, pace, time, calories, etc. It also tracks your sleeping patterns.

Next one is the MOVETIME Wi-Fi watch. This essentially enables users to accept and initiate calls from their wrist. It can also be used to open reminders, emails, SMS, etc. Apart from that, it can be used to monitor exercise data like steps, distance, time, etc. This one comes with a pre-installed app which can be used to monitor all the data. The company claims that these devices come with a unique gesture control system, which can be used to control it using movements.

The MOVETRACK is a new portable GPS Tracker. This device allows real-time tracking for up to 4 days of standby time. It is small and it weighs only about 33g. It can be easily hooked on to a keychain or something like that. This device comes with a dedicated app called Virtual Fence which notifies users when an item a pre-defined zone.

Lastly, the company also unveiled MOVE Track&Talk. This one is aimed at kids. This is essentially a tracker for kids which can be used by parents to keep an eye on their children. It features five speed-dial numbers for quick calling and 10 pre-defined contacts in case of emergency. According to the company, all these devices will be available to purchase from the end of September, however, they did not mention for how much it will retail for.
