In December last year, ZTE had launched the new mid-range smartphone ZTE Blade A711 in Malaysia. Now the company has announced the ZTE Blade V Plus in Australia with the same design as Blade A711 but sports a different processor. It comes with some good mid-range specifications and is built into a metal body that offers great strength to the Blade V Plus.

The build metal device comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz while the Blade A711 sports a much better Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage out of which 11.2GB is available to the end user; it also has a microSD card slot with a support of upto 32GB.

It runs on vanilla flavored Android 5.1 Lollipop unlike the device in Asia that features custom skin with few modifications. The device supports dual SIM dual standby by using hybrid SIM slot where you can opt-in for a MicroSD card instead of the second SIM. Coming to the camera of the device, it has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and on the front is a 5MP selfie camera.

The device is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver 9 hours of talk time and 220 hours on standby. It also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear of the device that makes it a bit more secure. Connectivity on this device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS, and a Micro USB 2.0 port. It measures 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 164 grams. It is priced at AUD 399 (approx Rs. 18,750) and is available in White color through the jbhifi store.
