Anticipation is a real fun for tech enthusiasts like us and hearing about rumoured gadgets is one thing to pass the time. Now there is a new rumour that suggests Samsung’s next flagship would be sporting a pressure sensitive touch display, which is similar to the 3D Touch introduced on Apple. The report from Wall Street Journal points out that the South Korean brand is working on introducing some unique display functionality on its Galaxy S7 handset next year. Earlier we reported that S7 would be sporting 3D Touch like display and USB Type-C in October, now this report from WSJ almost confirms those claims.

The CES 2016 is just round and we would likely t hear more rumours about this handset that Samsung generally launches during CES week in January. But like Samsung decided to skip IFA this year, which is the usual ground for Note family smartphone, we think this handset won’t be making its debut in CES next year.

We also learned that company is focussing on improving the camera capabilities on its next big flagship while there might be a likely introduction of USB Type-C with fast charging capabilities. This time there won’t be a camera bump on the rear side as the brand is planning a new camera module. But overall, there won’t be a much design change as company would be sticking with last year’s Galaxy S6 design.

Meanwhile, this time also, there would be two variants of Galaxy S7; Normal and Edge variants. Maybe we would be seeing Samsung launch this handset in the MWC (Mobile World Congress) event happening in late February next year. Nothing is confirmed yet, but that’s the fun of anticipation. Samsung anyway going to launch its next big thing like it does every year, why not try and understand what it is that Samsung want to achieve next year!
