Panasonic Eluga Icon with 4G LTE, 13MP Rear Camera, 3500mAh Battery Launched for Rs.10,999

Panasonic is teasing the launch of a new device saying “An icon is coming” and today we have that new smartphone called ‘Eluga Icon‘ launched in India for Rs.10,999. The device comes with some good mid-range specs considering its price. Earlier to this Panasonic launched few ultra-low priced smartphones like ‘Panasonic Love T10‘ and ‘Panasonic T33‘ which are priced below Rs.5,000. The smartphone will be exclusively available through Amazon India starting from August 13.

Coming to the specifications, the Eluga Icon sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit true octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, we expect it to be MediaTek MT6752m. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot support upto 32GB.

The USP of the device will be its camera department, it has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera for better selfies and video calls. It comes with unique features like Blink Play and Picture in Picture modes.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. It has a battery of 3,500mAh capacity that gives 19 hours of talk time and lasts up to 900 hours on standby. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and offers other connectivity features like Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0.

With such massive battery, the device measures just 7.95mm thick and weighs only 145 grams. As of now it is available only in the Slate color.
