As we exclusively reported earlier, OPPO launched its latest smartphone OPPO F1s in new F- series. The company had already launched the OPPO F1 and OPPO F1 Plus under this series in the first half of 2016. The OPPO F1 Plus is the same OPPO R9 that was launched in China. Now the OPPO F1s shares few similarities with the OPPO F1 Plus both in terms of design and specifications.
The OPPO F1s looks same as the F1 Plus that with the 5.5-inch display but the resolution is limited to just 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB via MicroSD card slot. The device runs on years old Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 3.0.
There is a 13MP camera with PDAF and LED flash on the rear and a 16MP front camera for selfies. The OPPO F1 Plus also came with the set of camera sensors. It is powered by a slightly better 3,075mAh battery compared to the 2,850mAh battery on the F1 Plus. It supports fast charging with the OPPO patented VOOC flash charging technology.
Comparison: OPPO F1 Plus vs OPPO F1s
It supports dual SIM dual standby and sports a fingerprint sensor on the front. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. Coming to the pricing, it is priced at Rs. 17990 while the OPPO F1 Plus is currently retailing between Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 27,000. The OPPO F1s comes in Gold and Silver color options and will be available across India via online and offline stores. The pre-orders for the phone will start from August 4th and will go on until 10th, and the first sale will be starting August 11th to 13th. So stay tuned for more details on this.
