Officially Launched
ASUS Zenfone Selfie with 13MP selfie camera and 3GB RAM launched at 12,999 INR

ASUS has launched yet another smartphone today adding on their long list of phones this year. The company just launched the ZenFone 3 line of devices, and they just launched a new tablet as well called the ZenPad 3 8.0 with a quadHD display. So talking about this new device, it the successor to the smartphone launched last year called Zenfone Selfie. So as the name suggests it is focused on camera and mainly a selfie-centric smartphone to be more precise.
This device carries the model number ZD551KL. Talking about the specs of this device, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It also packs a 3GB of RAM along with a 16GB of internal storage. But don’t worry, it is expandable up to a 128GB via a microSD card for storing your selfies. It is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. This battery should do well as if not amazing since it has to power a 5.5-inch FHD display on the front.
Now talking the USP of the device, which is the camera. The ASUS Zenfone Selfie sports a 13-megapixel front and rear facing cameras for those detailed images. The front camera is a f/2.2-aperture & wide-angle (88-degree) lens with dual color real tone flash. And you can take panoramic selfies if you are into that. At the back, there is a f/2.0-aperture, auto- laser focus lens and again a dual color real tone flash. So looking at these specs, it appears to be a good camera, but we can’t comment anything unless we test them ourselves.
The Zenfone also comes with a new Diamond Cut rear panel design, which looks rather interesting with different colors like Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold, Polygon-Illusion Diamond White, Illusion Polygon Blue, and Illusion Smooth Pink. This device will cost you INR 12,999 and if you wish to buy one now, then head over to Amazon India website. It will also be sold in retail outlets, but for that, you will have to wait until this September. Stay tuned for more info on this device.
