OnePlus 4 Smartphone with Dual Rear Cameras and Glass Body surfaces online

OnePlus is going to launch its next smartphone called the OnePlus 3T on November 15th in London. While we know pretty much most of the details about the device, we still have to wait for the official confirmation from the company and more details like pricing and availability as well. With that being said, we also have been hearing a lot about another new smartphone from the company called the OnePlus 4. Previously, the device was spotted online a couple of weeks back, and now yet again, the smartphone has made an appearance online.

According to the source here, the name of the smartphone as of now is a big question mark. Could it be either called the OnePlus 4 or maybe 5? Well, that discussion has to wait for some other time. We have a couple of specs of the device as well to be reported here, hence let’s take a look at them. It is expected that this next smartphone from the company will be made out of glass, just like the Galaxy smartphones. With this, it looks like OnePlus is completely shifting to premium flagship route.

It is also expected that it will sport a 5.3-inch AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 830 SoC which will be newest one from the company. It will also carry either 6GB or 8GB of RAM on board along with 128GB of internal storage. And at the back, we will be seeing a dual-camera setup with some interesting features. The dual cameras setup will be using a combination of Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality cameras.

While we have to wait for more details on how it will work, it is worth noting that the device will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery as well. As of now, that’s all the info we have on the device and probably have to wait to get further details on this. Although we have some info now, but judging by the history of smartphone launches from OnePlus, we might be seeing this one officially until June 2017. But that is not something you should be worried about since the company is going to unveil a new device on November 15th.

The OnePlus 3T is expected to be released tomorrow in London, which will be a slight upgrade to the OnePlus 3 in a couple of ways. Talking about the difference, the OnePlus 3T is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC as compared to the 820 on the OnePlus 3. The camera sensor at the back is also going to see some changes and we hope it enhances the quality further. Other rumors include an LCD panel instead of AMOLED and Android 7.0 Nougat as well. Well, if all this is quite confusing to you as of now, then we suggest you stay tuned and check back later as the device is going to be announced very soon.

Note – The featured image is not the actual device. It is just a renderd image.

  • Premium flagship with glass body! Does it mean it is going to cost around 40-50k unlike OP3?

    • Subhashish Mohan Dash

yes I too believe there wont be aggressive pricing this time…!! the body …the premiumness…now this will defintely shift it up from the mid-range to premium range…now let’s see how much the shift would be…!! hope it still goes easy on pocket for many….today’s pricing of the OnePlus 3T would shed some light on it,..which is expected to be around $80 more than OnePlus3
..let’s hope the OnePlus 4 ‘s price won’t goes up way too high…fingers crossed..

  • Arpit Porwal

Now they are moving to premium range, OnePlus has earned the people’s trust with One Plus 3 and now they are shifting towards premium pricing. Seems logical.

  • Prashanth

Looks good but price will be high! Should see how successful this will be as OP is slowly moving out of affordable segment! Things will not be the same once they enter the 40k price range

  • Vishal Giri

we had the same rumors for the OP3, hope it will turn out to be true for OP4!!
