Meizu is the latest Chinese smartphone manufacturer all set to launch its first device in the Indian market, with the Meizu M1 Note about to get launched anytime soon. This is a phablet with 5.5-inch display, and some specs that can well compete with the current budget-to-mid range devices having a similar screen size.
Update: The Meizu M1 Note is officially launched in India, with a price tag of Rs. 11999. The smartphone/phablet will be available on Amazon India from today, at 2 p.m., and there will be white and blue color variants available.
The company had conducted its first meet with bloggers in Bangalore, india, on 5th April and the device is expected to get released by the end of this month. The 5.5-inch IGZO display has a 1920×1080 pixels Full HD resolution, and under that, you’ll see a 64-bit Octa-core processor, Mediatek MT6752 SoC clocking at 1.7 GHz, and that is supported by 2GB of RAM and Mali T760 MP2 GPU.
The camera combination is the same as seen in some of the recent devices (Redmi Note, Yu Yureka), i.e. a 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear shooter has a five-element f/2.2 lens and the LED flash support.
The M1 Note supports 4G LTE connectivity, and the other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0. It has a 3140 mAh non-removable battery packed in. The device doesn’t seem to have a MicroSD card support as it comes with 16GB and 32GB internal storage versions. The 8.9mm thick smartphone will have a Dual microphone setup for noise reduction during calls.
