After the mere success of LG G4, the company came up with a new V series and first smartphone to be launched is the ‘LG V10.’ The device includes some unique features like dual front-facing cameras and an always-on second display for showing notifications. While the design of the device looks same as the earlier devices, the build quality looks more premium on this device. Today the company had officially launched the LG G Vista 2 through AT&T in the U.S.
The Vista 2 is the direct successor for the last year launched LG G Vista. The specifications of the device have seen major upgrade compared to its predecessor. It comes with the same 5.7-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution. The device will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor while the LG G Vista came with the quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor.
It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The 1W speaker that was earlier seen in LG Band Play is passed on to this device. It also includes a stylus that isn’t featured on the G Vista.
The company included features like Knock Code, QSlide, Quick Memo and few others that can make full usage of the Stylus provided. The back of the device is made up of plastic and comes with 3D Pattern of squares that look same as on the LG V10. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based LG’s UX UI and expected to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Coming to the camera, it comes with a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a laser autofocus, on the front it has a 5MP selfie camera with wide angle lens. The company included the manual mode for the camera app that gives a lot of customizations. The device is priced off-contract at $449 while the two years contract priced at $18.71 per month. There is no information about the launch of this device in the other markets.
