LeEco will be launching a new smartphone in China at an event scheduled for September 21st. While we initially expected the company to launch Le 2S smartphone, the recent leaks confirmed LeEco to launch the new flagship Le Pro 3. A leaked photo also revealed the mammoth specifications of the Le Pro 3, if that comes out true, the Le Pro 3 will be world’s first smartphone to feature 8GB of RAM. The Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and Le Max 2 are the first set of smartphones to miss the 3.5mm audio; the same will be continued with the Le Pro 3.

The company introduced the new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology that is said to offer superior audio quality with the USB Type-C port than the regular 3.5mm audio port. Even the Moto Z and Apple devices that are launched recently also missed the 3.5mm audio port. Talking about the Le Pr0 3, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor which offers 10% better performance the Snapdragon 820 SoC. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the world’s first smartphone to use the new Snapdragon 821 SoC.

The official teasers confirmed Le Pro 3 to sport bigger battery with fast charging technology and will be the slimmest device from LeEco. Though the leaked images suggest the device to launch in two variants with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants along with other flagship specifications. In reality, we don’t expect the company to launch a smartphone with 8GB of RAM. We can only confirm all this after the official launch in China next week. The recently leaked image which is mentioned to be of Le Pro 3 lacks the dual camera setup, so there will be another device launching in 2016 with dual rear cameras.

From the above featured image, we can see the design of Le Pro 3 to be similar to Le Max 2 and Le 2 smartphones, but it comes with a brushed Aluminum body. Once it is made available in China, the company might also bring it to the Indian market. LeEco launched its three SuperTVs with screen size ranging from 55″ to 65″ in India. All these TV’s come with 4K resolution and runs on LeEco’s customised eUI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
