Reliance Jio has literally taken over the smartphone consumers in India as the brand now ties up with another batch of smartphone brands. Under their partner offer, JIO has added HTC, Intex and Vivo smartphones as they are now eligible for 90 days free unlimited 4G data and voice services.

Earlier, the telecom operator has announced the extension of its JIO Preview Offer (JPO) to smartphone brands such as Samsung, LG, ASUS, Panasonic, Gionee, Micromax, YU, Karbonn, Lava, etc. Like these brands, the newly added three brands can now enjoy JPO and get themselves a free Jio SIM card at the nearest Reliance Digital stores.

Do make a note that you would have to carry original documents of proof of address and identity. As the staff at the store would ask you for it, since it is required for authentication purpose. Additionally, one passport size photograph would be needed as well. You would need some patience as the company is struggling with large footfall at their stores regarding SIM card.

We reported that Mukesh Ambani is going to announce the date of a commercial launch on September 1st at their Annual General Meeting (AGM). Where many revelations would be done regarding JIO commercial launch. Moreover, this meeting is the reason of stopping from issuing any new SIM cards at third-party and official stores. We expect it to happen for a small period only, i.e., 4-5 days. As telecom giant clears up pending verification and activates the SIM cards in the queue.

There are some prerequisites that need to be done before you head over to the Reliance Digital of Xpress Mini store. That code needs to be shown to store staff, as they would need to add it to your application form.
