Gionee Elife S Plus with 3GB RAM and USB Type-C Port to Launch in India

Gionee is all set to launch  a new smartphone called ‘Gionee Elife S Plus‘ in next few weeks. This is the company’s first ever smartphone to features USB Type-C port. The device is priced at Rs.16,999 and sports some value to some specifications. We have seen recently that Gionee has not been doing great when compared to their debut in 2013, when they came up with their initial products line up.

The reason would be higher priced products when compared with the Chinese Competition that’s introducing devices at a very competitive price. That said, this could be the cheapest USB TYPE-C Smartphone launched in India considering the price below Rs 20,000 & the next device available is the OnePlus 2.

We had earlier mentioned about their Smartphone launch in China, that’s happening on November 14th & we have also been tipped that they would launch this device in India in the month of November. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device will be powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card for storage expansion.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. Talking about the camera,  it has  a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It is powered by a huge 3,150mAh battery the  device thickness to be of just 7.5mm.
