Cool Changer S1 Smartphone Announced with 6GB RAM & 4070mAh Battery

Another new smartphone called as Cool Changer S1 has been announced jointly by LeEco and Coolpad. This is going to be a flagship model, and recently we have also seen them announcing Cool Changer 1C. The handset will be available in Champagne Gold, Black Streamer ad Black Night color variants and is priced at 2499 Yuan for the 4GB RAM and 2699 Yuan for 6GB RAM variant (approx $359 and $388) respectively.

The Cool Changer S1 has a unibody metal design that comes with dual SIM support and also has Harman Kardon amplifier which comes with AKG N18 custom headphones for Hi-Fi CDLA audio experience. There is a 5.5-inch FHD IPS in-cell touchscreen display and supports two nano SIM cards. Under the hood, there is a Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with a clocking speed of 2.35GHz.

There are two different variants, one being 4GB/64GB while the other is 6GB/64GB. Out of the box, the handset will come with Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system with EUI 5.8, and there is a 4070mAh battery on the rear with fast charging to power the device. There is a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, PDAF and also capable of 4K video recording which will be accompanied with 8MP front camera.

The Cool Changer S1 supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and measures 151.4 mm x 74.7 mm x 7.5 mm and weights 168 grams which great, considering the fact that the handset possesses a 4070mAH battery. There are connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth v 4.1, GPS, A-GPS and USB Type C. Moreover the company has also provided a fingerprint sensor on the device that enhances the security levels of the handset and lets its users make hassle-free payments.

Considering the specifications of the Cool Changer 1C, it will be competing against the device like Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, One Plus 3, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, LeEco Le Max 2, LeEco Le Pro 3 and few other flagship models.
