by Teja Chedalla 8

Apple has recently launched the latest iPhone SE in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 39,000. Compared to the U.S pricing of just $399, the Indian pricing is on the higher side. Now Apple is said to offer leasing options on the iPhones and iPads for the Indian corporate customers.

The iPhone SE will be available for just Rs. 999 per month for the next 24 months. While the earlier launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S are available for Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 1,399 per month respectively for the next two years. Apart from the iPhones, the same schemes are also applicable on all the iPads.

The users can also upgrade their iPhones by paying additional monthly fees. According to Apple, the same corporate leasing option is available from a year in India. With the slowed down penetration of smartphones in the western markets along with the China, now the company is said to more focus on India.

There are few reports suggesting the Apple to come up with the U.S like Apple stores in India and is also said to applied for permissions. Apart from this, the company is also planning to import and sell the refurbished iPhones in India. Along with the 4-inch iPhone SE, Apple also launched the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

means after 2 years we will have to return the product to apple?

    • Yes. But one advantage is, you don’t have to wait 2 years to give it back. You can rent it for 3 months, pay 1000 Rs every month and return it after 3 months.

to get corporate offer, what is required??

          • There is an email id just for contacting apple for corporate offers. Companies like Infosys, TCS, etc can email Apple and request some 100s or 1000s of phones and pay the charge per month. Not for a single purchase.
