Apple iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus, both were launched last week and are now available in certain countries. In India, the devices will be available starting October 7th and the prices for the same starts from 60,000 INR. So if are in the market for one, then that’s when you will be able to buy them. The smartphones were available to pre-order a couple of days ago and within a fraction of a second, the devices were sold out. And interestingly, the Jet Black variant is not even going to be available until next month.
Apple is surely going to some serious sales number with this device. But for that, they need to start producing more and take care of their inventory. Why? There are various companies out there; that have already started shipping the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus clones. Yes, clones are not new to us, we have been seeing them for a long time now. In fact, the first iPhone 7 clone came out way before, when we had initial leaked images only. But now we are talking about fully functional clones here.
A company called Goophone is now shipping iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus clones. And guess what, they also have the Jet black colour. Firstly, these clones look very similar to the original device. So if you are one of those, who is just buying an iPhone just for the purpose of showing it off, then this should be just fine. And looking at the specs of the device, it actually looks pretty good. Obviously, we are not going to get a performance similar to the original ones, but it is not that bad afterall.
We are not going to dig deep into the specs department here, but when you talk about some of the features like force touch, Dual-camera (in case of iPhone 7 Plus), fingerprint sensor etc. they all are present here. Again, don’t expect any great performance here. but it is quite interesting to have all these features built into a clone just like an original device. It is not advisable to buy these clones and use it as a primary device when compared to the original ones, but it is good to know that even the clones are getting better.
