Apple iPad Pro with 12.9-inch Display, 4GB RAM Launched in India, Price Starting at Rs 67,990

Update : This might be the first time that Apple has launched its latest iPad in India within couple months of the announcement in the United States. For all the Apple fanboys in the country now you can purchase the latest iPad Pro with a 12.9-inch display, starting at Rs 67,990, which is the Wi-Fi only 32GB variant of the acclaimed tablet from Cupertino giant.

The highest variant that has cellular network support and 128GB storage space you set up back around Rs 91,990. Or maybe you can opt for the middle variant that has same storage as a highest variant but has Wi-Fi only support. In other news, Google also announced its latest tablet, Pixel C at a price tag of just $499. It is now available to purchase in the United States Google Store. Sorry, Indian folks, you guys might have to wait. But if you’re interested in iPad Pro, you can grab the deal from company’s official website or hit the Apple stores nearby your location.

Earlier : As rumored earlier Apple has launched the iPad Pro with a massive screen size of 12.9-inches and a 3D Touch (a.k.a Force Touch) display. The earlier launched iPad Air 2 and iPad Air are largest Apple tablets till date with a display size of 9.7-inches with a 2048×1536 resolution at a pixel density of 294ppi. This is largest ever tablet to run iOS and even it runs two full sized apps side-by-side.

The Wi-Fi only version with 32GB storage is priced at $799, while the 128GB Wi-Fi only variant costs $949 and Wi-Fi + Cellular model with 128GB storage is priced at $1079. The Apple Pencil will be sold separately and costs $99 and the Smart Keyboard is priced at $169.

It comes powered by a 3rd Gen A9X 64-bit processor that is 1.9 faster than the A8X processor. The A9X chip comes with a double memory bandwidth and also doubles the storage performance. Ironically the iPad Pro is 80% of the Portable Computers in the world which clearly means that this is faster & is a beast in case you wish to do high processing applications like photo editing, video editing, running AutoCad etc. According to information revealed by Adobe, the iPad Pro comes with 4GB of RAM. The 12.9-inch display will sport 2732 x 2048 pixel resolution.

The iPad Pro comes with 10 hour of battery life which is good enough for someone to watch a few movies, browse the web & also read a lot of ebooks while on the go. Again do make a note that it comes with 4 speakers which gives you great music experience.

It also comes with stylus support called as ‘Apple Pencil.’ The touch input on the iPad is re-engineered to measure the exact touch accuracy of the inputs from finger and the stylus. The Pencil can be charged directly by using the lightning port on the iPad. With Force Touch display, you can long press using Pencil to increase the thickness of the stylus.
