ZTE ZMax Pro with 6” FHD Display, USB Type-C Launched at $99

The Chinese handset maker, ZTE has been known for launching smartphones at an affordable price in range. Recently, this brand had launched ZTE Small Fresh 4 smartphone in China that was successor of the Small Fresh 3 handset that was launched in November last year. Now, the company has officially announced a new smartphone in the Zmax-series named as Zmax Pro. It is the third smartphone from the brand after launching ZTE Zmax and Zmax 2, which was launched last year.

The ZTE Zmax Pro smartphone flaunts a 6.0-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution while ZTE Zmax smartphone sports 5.7-inch HD display and Zmax 2 features a 5.5-inch screen. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that protects from scratches and minor drops. Under the hood, it comes relies on Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor that clocks at 1.5 GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The dual SIM smartphone runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

This smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity and in addition to the Micro USB Type-C 2.0 port with quick charging support. The other options include 3G HSPA+, 2G, Bluetooth, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and A-GPS. There is a 32GB internal memory that can further be expanded via microSD card slot up to 128GB along with 2GB RAM that gives the multitasking without lagging.

The ZTE Zmax Pro smartphone comes with a piece of plastic back with the soft-touch matte and the gunmetal frame surrounding on to it, which gives good touch and feel in your hand. It features a fingerprint sensor that unlocks the device and applications as well. On the camera department, it sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash that can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies.

The device comes with a 3400 mAh capacity battery. It will be available in Royal Blue color variant and is priced at $99. This smartphone is exclusively available for purchase on prepaid carrier MetroPCS in the U.S. and gives the instant rebate of $100. It will be available from August 1st and pre-orders are starting from July 31st. It is also giving a leather case free who will buy a ZTE Zmax pro smartphone. According to pricing, this smartphone will give tough competition to the devices like Motorola Moto G4 and Honor 5X, both smartphones launched recently with the same price tag.
