Last year, ZTE came up with an interesting device called Axon M with dual displays. The ZTE Axon M foldable smartphone is separated by an ugly looking hinge. However, we are seeing this kind of form factor for the first time on a commercial device and its successor might come out later this year with some fine refinements. Back in October, it was launched exclusively on AT&T in the U.S for $725. Now, the company has confirmed to launch the same ZTE Axon M smartphone in China on January 16th.
The local pricing and availability of the device will be announced on the launch day. Last week, it got certified by TENAA, the Chinese equivalent to FCC, with similar specifications as on the U.S variant. In terms of OS, the Chinese variant will lack the Google Play Services and might come with a totally different UI. As of now, there is no information about the availability of theAxon M foldable smartphone in other markets.
