Xiaomi Updates its Devices List that gets Android Oreo/Pie by the End of this Year

Xiaomi’s heavily skinned Android-based operating system MIUI has released the company’s devices list that are part of their Android adaption progress. The Chinese device maker has announced that this list is part of the Android adaptation plan for the fourth quarter of this year.
The list includes most of the popular devices from Xiaomi that are ready for adaptation and internal testing of Android Oreo and Android Pie OS. Firstly, the devices for which the latest Android Pie has been released include the Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8 and Mi 8 EE, whereas the internal test planned for this years Q4 include the Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 SE and the Mi Max 3.
As for the Android Oreo is concerned, the list includes the Redmi 5, 5A, 5 Plus, and the Mi 5X. In the post released on the MIUI website, the company states that they will also launch a beta survey program, through which they would continuously update the devices list.
With a vast number of smartphones emerging in the market from Xiaomi, these timely updates will surely help devices run smoothly and efficiently considering most of them are under the budget-friendly category.
