Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Spotted on Geekbench, to be Launched on January 10

Xiaomi is all set to launch its upcoming Redmi Note 7 Smartphone as the device has been spotted online on Geekbench. According to the listing, the device will be powered with a Snapdragon 660 SoC while another leak suggests that the smartphone will be launched on January 10th. Earlier there were leaks that either Redmi 7 or Redmi Pro 2 could be showcased at the January 10th launch event but the latest news hints towards Redmi Note 7.
According to the listing, the device has a score of 1462 for single core and 4556 for multiple cores. The operating system listed as Android 9 which will make it the first Redmi smartphone to come out of the box, with Android 9.0 Pie following Mi Mix 3 from the company. As per the listing, the device will be housing 6GB of RAM and we might expect the Pro version to feature 8GB of RAM. The device will be having an octa-core processor with 1.84GHz clocking speeds.
Another leaked posted of the device from Slash leaks suggest that the device will be sporting a water drop notch on the display and is similar to the TENAA listing that we have seen a few days ago. The latest poster reveals the front and back of the upcoming device and will be coming with a dual rear camera setup which is placed vertically along with a gradient back finish. It also suggests that the handset will be coming in Blue, Black, and Pink color options.
According to the poster, the device will be launched on the 10th of January with a 48Mp camera and few also think that Redmi Pro 2 might be showcased on the same day. Well, we have to wait a few more days for the company to announce it officially. Recently we have also seen, Xiaomi rolling out a teaser on Weibo, announcing its partnership with Tiki’s Tok for its upcoming smartphone. What are your views on this?
