Later this week, Xiaomi will launch its latest smartphone in MIX series called Mi MIX 3. The launch event is scheduled for October 25th in Beijing, China. The leaks and official teaser images have revealed the complete first look of the device. Now, the company is teasing the software features of the device. Unlike the earlier MIX smartphones, the upcoming Mi MIX 3 will more screen-to-body ratio by minimizing the thickness of the bottom chin.
The slider on the top will feature not one but two front-facing cameras. Also, there will a soft LED flash along with other sensors to offer 3D face unlock. Today, the company also confirmed the Mi MIX 3 to feature 960 fps super slow-mo option. Xiaomi also posted a 10-sec slo-mo video sample on its Weibo page (embedded below). While Sony first introduced the 960 fps slo-mo video option on any smartphone, it is now available on quite a few smartphones.
The Mi MIX 3 will be coming with a complete bezel-less display but will miss out the in-display fingerprint sensor. It will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. It is teased to offers up to 10GB of RAM and 5G support. However, it is too early to see a smartphone come equipped with a 5G modem. The device comes in gradine color options and sports dual cameras on the rear along with the rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
