Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 and Mi Band 2 Officially Launched in India

Xiaomi, one of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is also known for some of its products out the smartphone eco-system. They have a variety of different offerings like the Air Purifiers, Rice cookers, etc. But none of these products are actually available in India yet. But today, the company launched two of its long-awaited products in India – Mi Air Purifier 2 and Mi Band 2. The Mi Air Purifier 2 is the second iteration of the product from the company, which is already available in China.

The company claims that the second iteration is 58-percent more power efficient than the predecessor. Apart from that, the company also launched the Mi Band 2 in India. While the original Mi Band is available in India, the Mi Band 1S which additionally comes with heart rate sensor is somehow skipped in India. Now the Mi Band 2 that has a OLED display on top of the improved hardware from Mi band 1S is available in India,

The Air Purifier is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available on Mi.com and Flipkart from September 26th and October 2nd respectively. On the other hand, the Mi Band 2 costs Rs.1,999 will go on sale starting September 27th on Mi.com and from September 30th through Amazon India.

    Would be interesting how the MI air purifier sales will be in India! This will give a good idea for other makers too about the market in india as the pricing is very good!

    Finally was able to leave a comment after trying and quitting from many days! Was not able to comment using Twitter from mobile! This Disques thing isn’t responding properly. Dont know whether the problem is with the site or my mobile but had to login from PC to register! Do check it once guys if it’s working properly

    I think Indian people r more excited about the Mi Band2 than the Air purifier…
