Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Smartphone Leaked with Notch Display & Dual Rear Cameras

Xiaomi is long rumored to launch the Mi A2 as the successor to Mi A1 Android One smartphone. Xiaomi India is said to have denied the launch of Mi A2, but they mentioned to bring in more Android One devices. Now, the Mi A2 Lite with the model number M1805D1SG is spotted in Singapore’s certification website. Recently, the same M1805D1SG smartphone is also certified by FCC.

On the connectivity front, the Mi A2 Lite will be offering Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and 5GHz along with Bluetooth 4.2. While there is no official confirmation, we expect the company launches this new smartphone under the Android One series. Talking about the specifications, the Mi A2 Lite sports a 5.84-inch notch display with Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.

The recently Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE are the first Xiaomi smartphone to embrace the notch design. It will be available in 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB RAM variants with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage. The device should be running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. In terms of camera, there will be a 12MP dual camera setup on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP single front camera for selfies.

It sports circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. The Mi A2 measures 149.33 × 71.68 × 8.75 mm and weighs 178 grams. There will also be an IR Blaster for controlling the devices like TV and AC. While the original Mi A1 came with a 3,080mAh battery, the upcoming Mi A2 Lite will be offering a 4,000mAh battery. It will be coming with metal unibody design and sports 2.5D curved glass on the front. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
