Recently Xiaomi has launched its Mi Max 2 with 4GB+64GB in India for Rs. 16,999 and now the company has launched the 4GB+32GB variant of the device in the country. This device will be available exclusively from Amazon India and Mi Home from 20th of September. Moreover, the Black color version of this handset is priced at 14,999 but will be offered for the reduced priced. All other specs of the handset are similar to the older variant except for the storage and it will come with a unibody metal design and features a curved Antenna bands on the top and rear edges.
The device will come with a big 6.44-inch display that offers Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution at a pixel density of 342 PPI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Under the hood, there is a 64-bit Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 2.0GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The onboard storage is limited to 32GB which cannot be extended further.
On the camera front, there is a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor on the rear with PDAF and a large 1.25μm pixel size which will be accompanied with a 5MP front-facing camera that comes with a wide-angle lens. On the rear, there is a 5,300 mAh battery which is rated to give up to 18 hours of video playback or up to 57 hours of talk time. The device also supports reverse charging and also Quick Charge 3.0. Moreover, the device can be charged from Zero to 68 percent just in an hour.
