Apart from smartphones, Xiaomi sells several other products in China. There are also few subsidiaries of Xioami like Yi and Amazfit, which are known for cameras and wearables respectively. In the past, we have seen the several power banks from Xiaomi and it’s subsidiary ZMI. Now, the company came up with a new power bank called as “ZMI Power Bank Mini.” It is the smallest power bank ever launched by Xiaomi.
It looks like regular AA battery and measures just 10.1cm in height. The single battery inside the ZMI Power Bank Mini comes with 3,000mAh capacity. Xiaomi is using the LG’s high-density lithium-ion batteries which are mentioned as safe and efficient. Along with the power bank, the package also includes a MicroUSB cable for charging the power bank and smartphones with MicroUSB 2.0 port.
Though it is small in size and comes with 3,000mAh capacity, the ZMI Power Bank Mini lacks the fast charging support. It has an output of only 5V/1A (5W). While there is a button with LED backlight, there are four LED lights as seen on the bigger power bank from Xiaomi to show the remaining battery capacity. The power bank will be available in Blue color and costs 39.90 Yuan (approx $6 / Rs. 386) in China.
Apart from power banks, Xiaomi’s ZMI also sells the car chargers and USB cables. Last month, Xioami started manufacturing power banks in India. It even launched the “Made in India” Mi Power Bank 2i in 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacities. Both these power banks also support fast charging. While the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i is priced at Rs. 799, the 20,000mAh variant costs Rs. 1,499.
